Professional Background

Education

BA, MSW, PhD

I hold an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Child and Youth Studies from Brock University and a Master's degree and Doctorate in Social Work from the University of Toronto. I am also a course instructor at the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work (University of Toronto) in the MSW program. My academic, research, & teaching experience have equipped me with the in-depth knowledge and practical skills necessary to provide you holistic support on your therapeutic journey.

Therapeutic Style

I practice an eclectic therapeutic approach, drawing primarily on tools and techniques from narrative therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, and motivational interviewing. I also integrate elements of mindfulness, emotional regulation, neuroscience, behavioural science, harm reduction, and parts work, depending on each client’s individual needs and goals.
